Intel's new stock Heatsink fan for Core 2 Extreme CPU Has Led Fan!
This is one flashy looking "stock" heatsink!

Hm, nice that Intel has finally seen fit to do something about their miserable array of clunky coolers... looks nice and probably performs similarly to a Zalman 7700AlCu CNPS cooler since neither offers heatpipes. I assume the P/Q switch is Performance/Quiet modes.
Maybe they'll deem it a worthwhile addition to more than the Extreme processors, which I doubt anyone that has oppened their computer case would be using a non-heatpipped cooler on anyway.

I have been using Stock Intel Heatsink from the very beginning on every platform. I stopped using Intel completely after Prescott and back with S775 65nm. The new heatsink will do me fine. Can't wait to get one.
