'Blaiming' the move on the presence of newer, nicer models, Intel has announced that its Skulltrail-prone 45nm Core 2 Extreme QX9775 (3.2GHz/12MB L2 cache/1600MHz FSB ) and 65nm Pentium E2220 (2.4GHz/1MB L2 cache/800MHz FSB ) processors are to be phased out, with the last order date for the duo being October 9 (2009).
