Default Intel faster in Quake3 only because of bug?

I wonder whether ol' tommy will use the fixed .dll's in his Q3 benches in the future. :P

Editting every past article seems like an impossible job: we no longer have access to most of the hardware.

RB is correct, since almost 99% of the hardware is lent to us we no longer have access to it.

the reviewer in the mentioned is using Q3A version 1.17 which has no "altered" .dll's available

I use Q3A version 1.17 also , last time around, but that was for testing videocards, so not sooooo relevant
