This X7800 proposes a frequency of operation of 2.6 Ghz via a FSB 800 and one multiplying coefficient of 13. But as very good processor Extreme Edition which is respected, its coefficient is freed with the rise. Interest? To make function to 2.8, 3 GHz or more without having to increase the FSB and thus without overclocker memory. C’is this qu’Asus made in the bios beta of the G2S which we had in test was possible to choose between 2600, 2800 or 3000 MHz. Core 2 Duet with 3 GHz in a portable, yes you read well! It should be noted that this portable is a prototype and that for the moment, Asus N’did not plan to sell the G2S with X7800.
