Huawei has been in the news lately for pushing fake reviews at Best Buy. It seems that Huawei is also catching bit of flack for the worst/best presentation at CES 2018. However, all that pales in comparison to the CIA, FBI, and NSA suggesting that even private citizens not use Huawei phones due to suspected security risks being associated with those phones. No telling what information is being sent where by its Kirin AI processor. "We're deeply concerned about the risks of allowing any company or entity that is beholden to foreign governments that don't share our values to gain positions of power inside our telecommunications networks," FBI Director Chris Wray testified. "That provides the capacity to exert pressure or control over our telecommunications infrastructure," Wray said. "It provides the capacity to maliciously modify or steal information. And it provides the capacity to conduct undetected espionage."
