Default Google Backs Up Chrome 27 with a New Beta Release

If you are keeping score in the ongoing race to see how many versions of a browser can be pushed out, Google is leading the way with Chrome 27 Beta being released (again), but this one is just for the Windows platform. I guess you could call this version Chrome 27 Beta Beta. The notification center picks up new activity from several sources including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, RSS feeds, or any other subscriptions. However, developers will have to tweak their Chrome apps and extensions to enable the feature.
