and “Poyster”

Global WIN unveils new water-cooling and heatpipe-based cooling solutions
for VGA cards at the Computex Trade Show in Taipei, Taiwan.

Taipei, Taiwan, June 9th , 2004 – Global WIN, a leading specialist in
thermal conductivity and heat dissipation has unveiled two new thermal
management solutions for VGA cards.

The “Starfi” and “Poyster” are named after the starfish and pearl oyster
respectively, continuing Global WIN’s exciting and imaginative new naming
convention using the theme of the sea. The new product shapes, colourful
packaging, and easy-to-remember names, makes the “Starfi” and “Poyster” VGA
cooling solutions instantly distinguishable from competitors’ products.

The “Starfi” is a mini-sized water block designed specifically for VGA
cards. The “Starfi” works with all current GPUs (graphical processor units)
and is compatible with Global WIN’s other water-cooling products such as
Jefi and Silent Stream. It uses a new patented water flow design that
effectively decreases water resistance to attain maximum heat convection.

The “Poyster” is a fanless heatpipe VGA cooler. It is a truly noiseless
solution and compatible with all current graphics cards. A large heatsink
surface delivers improved heat dissipation. The single piece aluminium
heatsink comes with dual heatpipes and dual heat conductors, with a simple
installation requiring the fitting of only two screws.
