Default Get SLI for your Intel X38 S775 Motherboard

Intel X58 is the First and only non-NVIDIA chipset to get SLI technology, and the users of Intel X38/X48/P45 motherboards probably hate the fact that their hardware doesn’t support SLI. However, everything has changed now…

One reader named Firewings [CCG] at Expreview forum (Chinese version) has figured out the way to get SLI support for its Asus Maximus Formula motherboard based on Intel X38 chipset, with one NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT and one GeForce GTX 260 graphics card. has contacted the reader and run a quick test for validation. We chose Intel QX9650 OC (4GHz) CPU, Asus Maximus II Formular motherboard, one Yeston GeForce GTX260+ 896GD3, and one Galaxy GeForce GTX 260+ graphics card for the test.
