| Four AMD sockets arrive in two years AMD HAS FOUR socket types coming in the next two years, and that is before the variants for each market segment are taken into account. Things could get interesting, and AMD may well attract the same criticisms as Intel did in the early Pentium 4 (423/478/603/604) days. | that's bad on several levels its a pain for the consumer but it boosts costs as well due to an increase of SKUs on all levels of distribution |

| until the next of 2008, AM2 CPU should work in latest mobo's up to AM3+... if I read things correctly? |
