 | Flat panel prices drop, LCD prices squeezed Larger sized panels started to be made during the fourth quarter of last year in Taiwan and the yields have improved, said MIC. Replacement demand in the US and in €uroland was strong and Taiwan shipped 1.7 million units in Q4 2005, a rise of 190 per cent, year on year. Prices dropped, but nevertheless volumes of 26-inch and above were strong, with the industry's average selling price in Q4 reaching $580.
