lets hope for Vista SE in 2009 then

early performance benches between Vista and Windows 7 for DX has W7 in the lead by a small margin

With Geforce 9800GTX+ and C2D @ 3.5Ghz , Vista SP1 64-bit:
1600x1200 VHQ 8xAF with/without 4xAA


as you can see, DX10 mode is faster with midrange cards also!
