Corsair announces the Obsidian 800D tower chassis

Initially seen at CeBIT, Corsair's first PC chassis has debuted at Computex under the name of Obsidian 800D. Seen below, the imposing all-black full tower chassis has a brushed aluminum, five external 5.25-inch bays, four internal hot-swap SATA HDD bays, and a fron I/O panel with two audio, one FireWire and four USB ports. The new case has a removable CPU backplate panel and a lot of holes for cable routing, three 140mm fans, plus holders for three 120mm spinners.

"The Obsidian Series 800D is a true builder’s case," said Jim Carlton, VP of Marketing at Corsair. "It will reliably last you through years of motherboard, power, memory, cooling and component upgrades, while its advanced features and superior cooling performance allows you to build your ultimate dream system."
