| Cooler Master Launches a Different Dual-Fin CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 Cooler Master Launches a Different Dual-Fin CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 Superior Cooling Performance for Intel® and AMD® CPUs from Cooler Master Taipei, Taiwan – September 26, 2007 - Cooler Master is proud to introduce its latest creation – the Hyper 212 CPU Cooler; offering a unique dual-fin design, LED sickle fan blade, universal fit, and silent operation at 19dBA – the Hyper 212 delivers superior cooling performance for Intel® and AMD® CPUs. The Hyper 212 isn’t just any CPU cooler, it comes with two distinctive designs. The Hyper 212 uses a dual-fin heat sink design, leaving space in the middle for excess airflow to pass through without the usual resistance of traditional head sinks; therefore pushing hot airflow out of the chassis at an even faster rate. The mirror-coated copper base also maximizes contact with the CPU and channels heat through four heat pipes. Once heat is brought to the heat sink fins, its special fan blade design whisks away heat; there is even the option of installing a second fan to double the amount of air pressure. With its fan orientation, heat is exhausted directly out of the back of the chassis before it has a chance to wreak havoc on the system. The engineers at Cooler Master have still managed to offer silent operation through a unique sickle blade fan design, which offers massive airflow while maintaining a low 19dBA noise output. And best of all, the Hyper 212 provides a universal fit, supporting a wide range of both Intel® and AMD CPUs, including Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Extreme, Core 2 Duo and AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core, and AMD Athlon™ 64 FX. The Hyper 212 will be available soon worldwide at a suggested retail price of $42.90, making it the most affordable and highest performing CPU cooling solution in its class. "The looks of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 can be pretty deceiving, it actually encompasses some pretty innovative design with the dual-fin and sickle fan blade and the option to add an additional fan on the back," says Paul Liao, Product Manager of Cooler Master. "This is what we're all about, bringing the best technology to enhance the most demanding systems on the market."About Cooler Master Cooler Master was founded to provide the best thermal solutions to our customers worldwide.
