Icon17 CES Day 3 Roundup - Tons of interesting news

CES Day 3 has ended and plenty of news sites are reporting about their meetings with different companies, sharing an outlook on the newest gear to hit the market soon.

Cool IT @ CES:
"Think of it in terms of a case fan with a temperature sensor. Once the sensor on the fan detects that more heat is being generated, the fan is then told to spin faster to compensate for the increased load (reactive cooling). Cool IT's proactive system will detect the load on the CPU and know that heat will soon follow. The software will then take measures to prevent this heat increase from taking place."

"We fought through more crowds, battled the traffic yet again, and sat down with several companies today. We even found time to win tickets to the AVN Adult Expo and awards Show from the local radio station!"

"Here's part one of TechSpot's "in pictures" coverage that includes information from Intel, LG, Dell/Alienware, Microsoft and more."

Antec @ CES:
"Each year, ANTEC always puts out a few things that become highly anticipated in the next year. This year is no different and we bring you all the goodness that is fit to show from our friends at ANTEC!"

"Today we have even more coverage from the CES showfloor, press events and our meetings with companies at their various press conferences. Some of the highlights include Dell's new 27 inch LCD, Antec's 2007 product lineup including the new Sonata III, P182 and the P190 'Big Boy' as well as a prototype P182 with a mirror finish. We also took a look at MacWorld happenings, Samsung's new two sided phone and iRiver's awesome new portable media players including the Clix 2."

"We've posted our first look at CES thus far. This is our first top 10 list, taking a look at cool products from Zalman (3D Monitor), Seagate (HD Enclosure), Razer (2.1 speakers), Patriot (16GB SD Card), LG (HD/BR Drive), Gateway (24" Monitor), Tagan (A+ case), WidgetStation, OCZ (2000W External PSU)."

"Today we have even more coverage from the CES showfloor, press events and our meetings with companies at their various press conferences. "Another day at CES has gone by, and this was the most exciting for OCC by far! It started out as a regular day, that lasted until Bosco and Raven65 were interviews live by FoxNews.com. You can find the video on the OCC homepage as well as in our CES Coverage Article. Besides the FoxNews interview, there were many exciting products to be seen. What really caught our eye was the Intel V8 system with a whopping 8 cores of processing power! This thing put out some serious benchmark scores. Head on over to OverclockersClub.com to see what kind of number's this mean machine produced in 3DMark06, Cinebench 2003 and the Half Life 2 Particle test. In addition to our day 3 coverage, over 100 photo's have been added to our coverage on day two."

OCZ Technology Overclockerfest @ CES:
"We will be seeing a new heatsink from OCZ in about a month. The Vindicator is a 6-heatpipe universal socket heatsink that can be used passively or with a 120mm fan. The demo unit we saw had the optional 120mm fan installed. As you can see, the unit is very large and looks similar in design to Noctua's tower-style heatsinks."

"we're starting to feel the rigors of the hustle and bustle that CES brings with it, but that didn't stop us from meeting with more companies, taking more pics, and getting the scoop on even more goodies in store for you in 2007!"

The 2007 CES Half Time Report
"As has been our tradition since the Comdex show in 2003, each of the major Vegas events is kicked off by a major party held by those of us at TTZ. This year, the CES Kickoff Party was once again held in the MGM Skylofts. Before the party got started, John and myself decided we should pose next to our battle worn party banner. Once the photos were taken, we spread out and started mingling with our honored guests."

"Although we were tired and our feet still sore from the show floor, we forced ourselves back into the consumer hurricane here at CES 2007 in Las Vegas. Today as you will see was a very productive day with lots of contacts made and a lot of booths visited."

"Here's a list of all the stories we have published thus far covering the International Consumer Electronics Show 2007 (CES 2007) currently held in Las Vegas. Please bookmark this page as we will continue to add a list of new stories that we publish directly from the show floor. We have a lot of exclusive coverage revealing the industry trends in 2007 and beyond."
