| http://www.amdzone.com/modules.php?o...tid=182&page=1 According to recent previews, the game is based off a totally new engine, unlike the modified Quake III engine of the original Call of Duty. After going through the game though, there still seem to be some slight remnants, perhaps just the UI but the gameplay and feel of the game seem to remain, however the game does look spectacular. Bump mapping, high-polygon models, shaders, and some of the best looking smoke from any game ever. It takes a natural, billowing shape as planes explode, bombs drop, and grenades explode around characters. The demo though is very short, easily beatable in 10-15 minutes but never the less worth the 656MB download for those who have a broadband.
