| Biostar TA890FXE & MSI 890FXA-GD70: AMD’s Top Offer for Mortals A few weeks ago, we reviewed the first motherboard based on the AMD 890FX and SB850 chip combo, which was fantastic in every way except the price. This time around, we’re testing two more accessible models which should make it cheaper for users to build a strong PC based on a quad-core or hexa-core Phenom II, as they will be able to invest the difference in money in another component… Although Biostar’s model was a little underachieving as an overclocker, the motherboard is very high quality, well equipped and excellently priced, so if you need a strong system based on AMD’s latest, yet on a budget, feel free to buy it. MSI is, on the other hand, top-quality, quadruple CrossFireX-enabled (which may not be that relevant to most users) and has full SATA 6 Gbps and USB 3.0 support (which is a good bet for the near future). http://www.insidehw.com/Reviews/Moth...r-mortals.html
