 |  ASUS introduces 10 inch Eee PC ASUS has added another version of the popular Eee PC to its line-up. The Eee PC 1000HD is the little brother of the Eee PC 1000H, which costs $549,-. The Eee PC 1000HD has a 10 inch screen with a resolution of 1024x600. The notebook uses an Intel Celeron M processor, clocked at 900 MHz. It's remarkable that ASUS has chosen not to use another Atom platform.  The consumer can choose between a 1 GB version with Xandros Linux or a 2 GB model with Windows XP. The Eee PC 1000HD features an 80 GB harddisk and a Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g network card. The Eee PC 1000HD also has an integrated 1.3megapixel webcam and comes with a 6-cell battery. It's available in the colors black and white.
