| AMD takes on Centrino with low power Semprons For the second day in a row, some leaky Taiwanese birds filed some more exclusive details about AMD's new CPU. This time the site talked about AMD' mobile plans that appear to be quite impressive. AMD has five different CPUs for mobiles based on the K8 core - AMD mobile Athlon 64 CPU that is currently shipping in 754 socket and has 512K of cache, codenamed Odessa. This CPU consumes 35W. This is AMD's only mobile CPU for Q2. These CPUs are branded as 2800 and 2700+. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=16966
