Default AMD and Star Wars: bit-tech gets the low-down

We're extremely excited to bring you this morning's bit-tech article. We've talked exclusively to the guys at AMD and JAK Films, a division of Lucasfilm, to talk about AMD's role in bringing Star Wars: Episode III to the big screen.

We talk to Charlie Boswell, Director of the Digital Media and Entertainment group at AMD, as well as Dan Gregoire, Pre-Visualization Supervisor at JAK.

If you've ever wanted to know what workstation hardware Star Wars is created on, why Lucasfilm loves HyperTransport or whether it's possible to hack 32-bit applications to get an AMD64 advantage, this is for you. We've also got the inside gossip on George Lucas' sandwich habits.
