 | AMD readies some price rises RELIABLE SOURCES said that AMD is putting prices up on its X2 microprocessors by between two and five US dollars, depending on the stock keeping unit (SKU). Meanwhile AMD will drop prices on its Sempr0n range, although this doesn't seem to cause most resellers and distributors to do much but yawn and carry on selling Opteron 285s.
