We already know most worth knowing about AMD's third model of the ATI Radeon HD 5800 series. Rumors have been going since January but the launch date has been moved over and over again, so many times neither AMD or partners seem sure when the card will actually launch. As recently revealed the launch is close at hand and according to our sources to the launch date is set.

On February 25th, one week after Chinese new year, AMD intends to release the stripped down Cypress GPU. Radeon HD 5830 will sport only 1280 stream processors but still have some pleasant clock frequencies and 1GB GDDR5 memory.
