 |  $6000 Acer Desktops Recalled Due To Overheating Problems GAMING BOX BUILDER ACER has been forced by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission to recall a number of its top-end Predator desktops because they present a burn hazard to users. The machines, which were sold between May and September last year for up to $6,000, were manufactured in China and have model numbers ASG7200 and ASG7700. The recall comes after Acer received reports of internal wiring becoming bent or stripped causing the computers to overheat.
