![]() | ![]() NVIDIA's first two discrete graphics cards with graphics cards spawning from the 40nm node was unveiled during the summer, but exclusively for OEMs. Now it looks like NVIDIA's first 40nm card for the retail market will be the low-end GeForce G210 as it will become available in October. The reason is that yields at TSMC has improved to the degree where availability will not be a problem. Even if GeForce 210 sports DX10.1, one of the first from NVIDIA, it will be hopelessly far behind of AMD in terms of technological specifications. In the same period the competitor is expected to release its family of DirectX 11 cards, but it at least looks like we will have a broad assortment of 40nm GPUs in 2009. http://www.nordichardware.com/news,9824.html
