Default x1900xt 256/512mb or 7900gto

Hello,
I want a new videocard but I dont know what one, I know the gto is very good and you can OC it to gtx speeds easily but the x1900xt 512mb is faster and you can use AA and HDR the same time but it uses more power, its hotter and noisier.
What card to buy the x1900xt 512mb is 280euro the 256mb is 230 euro the same as the 7900gto, so please help me.

Thanks

I will overclock the GTO to get GTX speeds, but the x1900xt 512mb is a bit faster, and better image quality so I am not sure.

thanks

for the money, the GTO is unbeatable and has the benefit of lower power consumption and the better stock cooler

if you want the absolute best card, the XT 512MB might be the better choice but it will need a new cooler so you don't go insane

I think you are right I dont want a lot of noice, heat, or power consumption. So I think I will go for the 7900GTO. But I am still not sure

NVIDIA's SLI is better supported at the moment, so if you ever upgrade to dual GPU, the NV card will be easier and give higher speed increase

Default no sli

I think I will not get sli or crossfire when I upgrade, so what to buy without sli, maybe sli when my mobo supports it btw, but I dont know a payable mobo with sli

I recommend not to think about SLI unless you got a lot of money spare and can get SLI right away.

A lot of people though they could add another card and have an easy upgrade, but because of the quick progress in speed of the cards it wasn't worth it over a new single card.

I think that you are right, but maybe I would buy sli in a few months but I think I dont need it, and there arent sli motherboards for conroe for 170/180 euro max
