Default Wat is DUAL DDR,

http://tw.giga-byte.com/motherboard/...ga-8ik1100.htm
Deze ondersteunt 800 Mhz FSB en dual DDR.
Vraag :

No special ddr ram needed. Just buy 2 (or more) sticks, prefarably exactly the same.

eg. 2*PC3200 256mb

If you use 2 memory banks (2 x 256) in DDR mode how much ram is than displayed in Windows 256mb or 512mb?

go for HIGH quality ram (corsair/kingston/mushkin/apacer) so that you won't encouter problems

cheaper PC3200 RAM tends not be able to run @ those speeds with good memory timings (the lower the timings = the faster, and cheap ram runs @ slow/high timings)

I've got two sticks of Corsair XMS 256MB DDR cl2 (LINK) on an ASUS P4G8X deluxe (LINK), and I must say I've never been so satisfied with my PC as I am now, this baby almost flies
