| To upgrade or not to upgrade I bought a Sapphire ATi X800 GTO2 in January and did the well known firmware mod to make it a X850 with 16 pipelines and 540 Mhz core and 590 MHz memory. But in the past couple of months I've been getting bored and am wondering if theres any good gfx upgrade options that would improve the graphics, but wouldn't make me bankrupt? I did have a look at piotke's article on low and mid range cards but didn't see anything. Would a x1800 be a big step up in quality? I found this one quiet cheap http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/108605 |
