Not bad but not impressive ... second generation only comes in 2004.

Interesting article, first i've seen of an SATA drive.

Looks like my next drives are going to be cuda V's: extremely quiet (which is much more important to me than 0.5% slower transfer speed), fast & hot plugable.

Only sad you can't connect a regular molex connector, using a large power converter cable partially illiminates the beneficial effect from not having to use a huge ATA100 flatcable. :/

look for PSU's sporting the new connector very soon I think
