Hi, do you guys know a tool to get a better result on my Geforce 6600 when browsing the internet? Anti aliasing etc seems to work for 3D applications, can't it work for 2D applications too? On my other computer I have an ATI Radeon 9700 and it's so much better dealing with 2D images. With the Nvidia card I see a lot of ugly artifacts in almost every jpeg that I don't see with the ATI card. Why is that? ![]()

The fonts are great, it are the images - and yeah it's on a TFT screen, I'm going to try to hook up a CRT monitor and check if that's what causing the big difference...

![]() | if you're seeing artifacts in a JPG image; but not on your desktop, in Word, Excel.. etc it's probably a software issue, rather than a hardware problem. the 2D quality of recent ATI/NVIDIA cards is top notch and equal to Matrox (known for excellent 2D since the beginning of time) http://www.viperlair.com/reviews/vid...0q/index.shtml

K its the flat screen that sucks. I hooked up another CRT monitor to the DVI output and now I clearly see that flat screens are stupid and i'm never gonna buy one myself ![]()

And another not so related question: with the 2 monitors I now have, is it possible to play a game (with direct3D/opengl) on monitor 1 and have something like mIRC on montior 2? Now, when I click mIRC the game on monitor 1 minimizes ![]()
