Hey, another possible motherboard nowadays, although rather for people with a very tight budget, is the MSI X58m or the MSI Pro-E.

On Alternate.be, they're (respectively): 159.90€ and 174.90€.
I'm not a 100% sure, but I think that IF you wanna spend more money on a motherboard, IF your budget is higher (for your motherboard, that is), get something a little more expensive. At the moment, I'm working in order to save for a whole pack of upgrades, the ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 being one of them. (236.90€ on Tones.be)

Have a look at the Asus Maximus Formula, Asus Maximus III Gene or the Asus P7P55D Deluxe... All LGA1156 i7 mainboards with loads of capacity, who come in way cheaper than their LGA1366 counterparts.

There's voltage limitations, but hey, those can be circumvented quite easily (some less easily, granted).

Anyway, there's ways enough to build yerself a small nuclear plant using the LGA1156 and still stay under 900 euro. How do I know? Well, I did it
