 |  works perfectly here on a DX8.1 system. DTM however required it, but doubt if it using all the features DX9 offers

 | If money where a big issue, i'd go for the ti4200. A R9500 Pro is better, but the price difference is HUGE: 123 eur <> 220 eur... A Ti4200 on a decent system (XP1800+ / P4 533FSB) will be able to play 95% of the games fluently as long as you don't enable FSAA and run <1280*1024.
