I find it to be a very wierd installer.
the drives and tools have their share of bugs, and the overall improvement isn't worth the hassle.

Omega is faster or better looking in quality mode.
If by NGO u mean DNA drivers, these are faster but dont lok as good.

go to driverheaven.net
they have a review where they compare the 2.

Sometimes omega have fixed bugs for some games before ati does.

Talking about when 9800's where dominating, don't now how it is at the moment.

Okido then, tried the NGO-driver however (New Generation Order)
First uninstalled the orginal Catalyst 4.1 and installed,
with no prob (first time for everything ), the NGO driver.

Didn't notice much diff however.
But then again, you can't turn a ATI9600 in a 800

Thx for the replies

I've always prefered the omega drivers over the ati drivers.

Where I had problems installing the original drivers, the omega drivers always installed without a hitch and come packed with softmods and usefull tools like ati tool and radclocker (or was it radlinker, I can never remember).

Previously, they also performed better then the ati drivers but nowadays, the ati drivers are better performance wise.

On the other hand, with the omega drivers, you get (or soon will get with the next version) all the options and more that the catalyst control center gives you and you don't need to install microsoft's .net framework to run them wich saves on your download limit and doesn't slow your pc down.
