File Transfer

If you use Internet connection sharing, you will not be able to send files using MSN Messenger. You will be able to receive them, but not send them.

Send a beer to JMke :^) ... and install ICQ

op PC met ICS
properties van ICS opvragen, daar Special ports definieren

dus mappen naar IP van uw client op homelan waar MSN draait (192.168.x.x ofzoiets , start -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig runnen @ client PC)

map TCP poort 6891 tot 6900 indien nodig, elke poort extra geeft extra file transfer mogelijkheid (dus enkel 6891 mappen = 1 file transfer.. 6892 ook mappen, 2 file transfers tegelijkertijd.. enz enz)

first download
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...icscfginst.exe

then download
http://www.practicallynetworked.com/..._Messenger.ics

and open it with wordpad

change "TargetIP=0.0.0.0" tot the right IP

look for ->

[Mapping]
Name=MSN Messenger
Desc=MSN Messenger with AIM Support
TargetIP=0.0.0.0
Active=True

thanx in advance

"can be wrong too"

indeed, my apologies

to clarify things:

you have to know the IP of the PC you want MSN to function on
this IP you have to define here

TargetIP=0.0.0.0

Quote:
start -> run -> cmd -> ipconfig runnen @ client PC^
