| I cant install drivers>>so I cant game! Hello, I have a problem>>when I install my vga drivers my computer doesnt to start any more. It starts till the windows welcome screen and it crashs then. I have a 9800xxl from a medion computer>>>my computer isnt medion :P. It's a 9800pro with an xt bios. When I install drivers I need to start it in safe mode or I need to start it in the last working mode. I dont know what to do I tried different drivers, drivers from the ati site, drivers from the cd everything! and it doesnt work. And I cant play games without the drivers!! | it looks like my computer doesnt see the videocard My computer doesnt see the card that's the problem I think, I have no artefacts. I can see the normal screen only no games I just dont understand it |

| are you sure you totally removed all other drivers that were installed on your computer prior to installing the new ati ones? you might want to try something like http://www.drivercleaner.net/professional.php before attempting to install new drivers. also, are you sure the 9800XXL actually works at 9800XT? have you seen it work before? or did you just buy it / flash it? and what do you mean with "doesnt see the vid card"? you mean in system he doesn't recognise the card as an 9800XXL / 9800XT? or doesn't he list any screen adapters at all? |

| it works again Thank you I reinstalled windows again the second time it is doing wierd now, it crashs but I can install drivers and start now I can even play games. The vga is stock 9800xt bios 9800pro speed. I think I can make my computer work now. |

| forgot something First my computer didnt saw my videocard it said 0 mb vga. Yes I removed all the drivers with an uninstall program. |

| new hdd doesnt work normal I have a asus p5p800-EAYZ motherboard Bios version 1401 The computer worked good before with a IDE hdd, I installed a new SATAII Seagate ST3320620AS and placed the jumper for sata1 This worked one day at 73MB/s but after this the system became very slow and the speed of the hdd was just 3MB/s I connected the hdd on the second sata connector and the system worked properly for one day and it became slow again I tried a new SATA cable but this made no difference |
