having probs with new fx5900xt

I constantly get the following pop-up:

I have no idea as to what is causing this.
I didn't have it yesterday when I didn't' have any drivers installed and was surfing at 800*600

Today, all the drivers are installed and if I make my internet explorer window a bit to large, I get this every time I use the mouse wheel to scroll and every time I use the up and down arrows. I get it in msn when I try to confugre the mic and cam.

It's always the same thing:
1 scroll is 2 pop-ups
opening the config tab is for the mic and cam is 3 pop-ups.

I noticed the fan not spinning so I checked the cooler but it wasn't even hot and after re-inserting the card and power and fan connector I noticed it has troubles coming up to speed.
I watched the fan and it gave a little twist and then stopped, then it fired up.
I rebooted a couple of times to check if it would start up every time and it did but when I checked back when the pc was on for a little while it had stopped spinning again.

I'm using the latest omega drivers and I haven't tested any others yet (I'd rather not use the original but if some older omega's don't work I guess I'll have too :grum: )

the card is an MSI FX5900 XT

I checked that twice, it won't go any deeper.

I'll check with that old multimeter I have lying around from school, that is if I can find it...

net de powerconnector en de fan connector op de kaart (DUS NIET AAN DE FAN OF AAN DE PSU) gechecked; resultaat: molex side krijgt power, fan connector niet.

Sorry for caps, copied from other forums where all but one advised me too plug in the molex :grum:
