And is the core big enough for phase change?
Guess I'll have to change to Intel due to my prometeia...

In time these puppies wol overclock 400MHz or so, but not at the beginning, hopefully next month they will

... was thinking somewhat the same ...

does help a bit on my XP, so let's hope it works on the T-Bred as well

if not -- a watercooling setup has crossed my mind :^)

hèh, it can be realy simple you just need a good heat transferring matter that isen't conductive;
don't spare it, clash it all over your core. It should carry the heat all over your heatsink. But, that's not it: the heatsink should be pushed onto the core, like you mount a peltier.
watercooling/phase-change setups haven't got that problem, they have enough pressure already

I just cant believe those Toms Hardware results. I don't have any confidence when it comes to AMD vs Intel on that site, they ALWAYS side with intel. Can you say, THG is in intel's pocket?

Anyhow... once some known serious overclockers get their hands on these processors then the world will know who is the king

agreed, but 99.9 % of the community can't overclock like oppainter can... just look in the top 25 at the orb... how many amd's are there? nobody gets even close to oppainter...
even if he gets it to 2.5 that doesn't mean anybody else will..
I'l get it to 2.498

Making you "older"

Or, the fun you have had, still be fun for others after all the time has passed.
