Default mouse touchpad for pc? (build in koffermod)

Does anybody know if you can buy a mouse touchpad (like in a laptop) so I can build it in a suitcase-mod (koffermod). I want to have as few peripherals as possible so I was thinking of implementing some sort of touchpad into the design.

Maby its fixable with an old mouse with ball upside down and a litle plate on top of it, if you make it that you have to push the plate a bit before it touches the ball you might be able to make such a touchpad-like thingie.
Dont be shy to try

cherry have keyboards with trackballs or touchpads (even for their small form factor kbs)

there is a downside to it though: price

i think it's about 150 euros...
