| P5k goes easy to 500 + fsb, same goes for Gigabyte P965 based boards.

| This board should be coming Madshrimps' way any day now, we'll see how it does on my trusty E6700 step 5 (max fsb 511 on DFI 680i). Talked to Tony about these extreme FSB records DFI was claiming (670fsb it was I think), seems : 1) Oscar Wu has some "very special" cpu's to work with (golden samples) 2) The result was optained using cascade cooling 3) The northbridge cooling was completely overhauled. So no, there probably won't be any 550+ clocking on air and standard motherboard layout |

| 24°C seems a tad to low for normal average air. |

| You'll have a hard time if you want to do a full review with all oc-options explained, Thorgal. Two threads which MAY be interesting: http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=1436 http://www.ocxtreme.org/forumenus/showthread.php?t=1385 Last one not because of OPB, but because of the information BigToe gives. |
