| which GF4 to buy alright, I want to buy a GF4, but I'm not sure which to get... A GF4 Ti4600 costs too much for my budget so it will be a Ti4200 or a Ti4400. Now this leaves me with several candidates: *Gainward Ti4200 GS or the Ti4400 *Abit Ti4200 *Leadtek Ti4400 *Asus Ti4400 This will be used on my P4 rig (1.6A + abit BD7II+twinmoss pc2700) phuture plans: H2O (card + cpu) or Vapo (awaiting my 'vakantiegeld' ) What may I expect more from the Ti4400 in terms of OC'ing and in relation to the Ti4200? Is there a lot of difference between those brands? I value your oppinions. Thanks in advance... K. |

| as far as we have seen now, most ti4200 clock just as far as the ti4400 or even ti4600 so it's of no use buying a more expensive gpu. if you plan on getting it watercooled, for the cashdifference there is between a ti4200 and ti4600, you can buy a 80W pelt to put on... Take a guess which will go higher : ti4600 on water, or ti4200 on watercooled pelt... there won't be too much of a difference.... gainward or abit ti4200 all the way, haven't compared too much of the reviews, but I guess gainward roxx in almost all their samples

| correct me if I'm wrong Calantak, but haven't you posted a 3Dmark2001 project with a abit Ti4200 that overclocks quit well straight from da box? If so, I'll get me one of these.... |

| I thought I read somewhere (was it hardocp?) that the gainward Ti4200 can be oc'ed to speeds above (!) the default speed of the Ti4600 cards. |

| that's what I mentioned in my reply, ti4200 go to default or above ti4600 in some cases.
