| Makaveli7 : here's a good guide and the l12 mod is explained and demonstrated in there aswell : http://www.logan.eclipse.co.uk/abit_nf7_(s)_v2_0.htm and here's one for the mod only : http://www.ocinside.de/go_e.html?/ht...md_pinmod.html select what you need (cpu view, barton, 166fsb) and it'll show you what pins to connect. Mind you, don't bother the 200fsb mod cuz it won't work on mobiles offtopic: jmke (or anyone else ) do you know a guide for modding memory sticks like in Hipro5's guide cuz he says "mod your mem too for stability" but he just shows some pics and doesn't even say how. I've been meaning to go through his thread on XS but haven't found the time yet... |

| http://www.lvcoyote.com/ As I said before; somehow both of my NF-7 boards work well over 200 without the mod. Only limited by my memory sticks.

| no, this link has at least some explanation and results for all the different bios revisions. http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.p...2&page=1&pp=30 be carefull though, if you have pata disks, you're ok with any bios but if you use sata disks, stay away from the older biosses (D10, ...) also, if you use dual sided memory (afaik all 512mb modules), you need to get a bios with CPC off (except with the mushkin 256 sticks, they are dual sided but they seem to act as single sided). here's another link for recent bios files but no explanation of any kind. http://www.pc-tweaker.ch/Downloads/BiosMainboard.htm |
