During the overclocking session

Preparing the motherboard for the subzero temperatures by adding insulation. Note that before we started this session, we sprayed a coat of plastic on both front and back of the motherboard to make sure that condensation doesn't lead to an early death of the motherboard

Temperature probe inside the dewar ... looks like the LN2 is ready!

Madshrimps (c)

Running -183°C and the cpu is working perfectly ... what's that about coldbug, Intel?

Madshrimps (c)

The container completely filled with LN2

Madshrimps (c)

Due to the very cold motherboard, the memory gets cooled down as well, hence the ice on top of it

Madshrimps (c)

The longer the session went on, the more ice was formed on the LN2 container

Madshrimps (c)

Top shot of the setup, notice the memory which are now fully covered in ice/snow

Afterwards

Madshrimps (c)

Ice on the back of the motherboard ... but it still worked

Madshrimps (c)

As expected: ice on the memory as well

Madshrimps (c)

In fact ... ice all over the motherboard!
