Mionix Avior 8200 Gaming Mouse Review

Mionix have recently introduced their Avior 8200 high-end mouse which sports a fine-tuned Avago 9800 sensor and can jump through DPI values thanks to the three programmable steps. It is ambidextrous and features a soft-touch coating which is comfortable during long gaming sessions.

A Closer Look Contd.

In the front we have the rubber-coated scroll wheel along with two middle buttons which are initially programmed for changing the DPI in 3 separate steps:

 

 

 

On the bottom side we have the 8200DPI Avago 9800 laser sensor which works along with the 32bit ARM processor at 72MHz. On the laterals we have two large PTFE mouse feet:

 

 

 

Near the sensor we also have a small sticker with the Mionix product logo, but also the model name and the power rating:

 

 

 

Via software, we can easily customize the lighting system along with effects (color shift, solid, blinking, pulsating or breathing):
