Mionix Avior 8200 Gaming Mouse Review

Mionix have recently introduced their Avior 8200 high-end mouse which sports a fine-tuned Avago 9800 sensor and can jump through DPI values thanks to the three programmable steps. It is ambidextrous and features a soft-touch coating which is comfortable during long gaming sessions.

Packaging, A Closer Look

One of the latest gaming peripheral from Mionix is the Avior 8200, which is shipped inside a small cardboard box, while keeping a clean and simple design. A photo of the mouse can be found on the top side of the enclosure:

 

 

 

On the back side we will get a small description of the mouse main components, in multiple languages:

 

 

 

After removing the top packaging layer, we will reveal the main product which is covered with a transparent plastic mold:

 

 

 

As bundle we will receive a small manual, but also a Mionix case sticker:

 

 

 

The manual we have just mentioned previously contains some words regarding the installation procedure, customization, but also information regarding the product warranty:

 

 

 

Avior 8200 is equipped with a 2m long black braided cable, for additional durability:

 

 

 

 

The cable ends up with an USB gold plated connector:

 

 

 

This mouse comes with an ambidextrous design, and is covered in rubber coating (4 layers to be more exact), in order to ensure a good a good claw or palm grip:

 

 

 

In the back side we have a Mionix logo, which is part of the customizable LED lighting system (up to 16.8 million color options):

 

 

 

On the left side we have two additional programmable buttons:
