The new TL-WA850RE Universal Wireless N Range Extender from TP-LINK comes to eliminate the network dead spots in the areas we choose and has a compact form, does not require extra power adapter and can be also used as a wireless adapter for wired devices.

Web GUI Part I

After the connection has been completed, we can easily re-log to the web interface and check out the details, including the signal strength the extender is receiving from the router, in its current location:

For each detected wireless network, we can create a separate profile:

From the Wireless Settings menu, we can choose the Operation Mode or modify the root AP name/MAC, but also choose the channel width:
