After the connection has been completed, we can easily re-log to the web interface and check out the details, including the signal strength the extender is receiving from the router, in its current location:

From the Wireless Settings menu, we can choose the Operation Mode or modify the root AP name/MAC, but also choose the channel width:
The Wireless Security menu will allow us to choose and enter up the encryption settings of the network:
