2x P4 2.53Mhz and some spare PC's which I'm try to get back up :)

-AMD Mobile 2500+ @2GHZ when surfing/downing and @2.4GHZ when gaming.

folding hours per day : 5h

- AMD XP2400+
folding hours per day : 1h

- PIII 900MHZ (stopped folding)

- AMD 64 3000+

folding hours per day : 5h

xp2100 @ 2300MHz folding 24/7

I should fold more but then my parents will go nuts if they see the electric bill :D

At Home:

At my Family's

Maybe they'll fold more maybe not - must convince them to keep their machines running. Maybe more to come - going tomorrow @work of father and mother ;)

Does it affect your electricity bill that much? Well if I get complaints, I might have to take it down a bit

since your CPU will be running at 100 usage, it will use 60-80Watt of more depending on the CPU & vcore voltage

And that's a lot?

1 PC will hardly make a difference.

6 PC's will make a large difference :)

1 pc running 2500+ at 2200Mhz

weeks 16.45 till 01.00
weekends non stop

PC use: folding, gaming, school work, movies, internet, ....... everything


BTW, electricity is much cheaper at night.
besides, with that much pc's you can warm your chamber. Wich 'll save you about 1.2Kw = 4pc's

I allready got the sauna effect, only one pc but very small room.

I use my pc only. P IV 2,6C @ 3320 mhz folding from 8 to 23 at normal days.

also 2 noisy at night? :D

I have a problem. I haven't got a clue where my current folding rigs are, so i can't switch them.... :)

after a night of folding I almost finished my WU.

every PC counts as a good 100w lightbulb :)

I removed the laptop :(. It made too much noise, and it was too slow. 1600+ @ 40% :(. Probably gonna ask someone 2 fold with my name.

Find some family, friends or colegue\'s and try to explain them, maybe you are lucky.

got some friends with quiet fast pc\'s, but I can\'t fold with it because they game a lot. Or they can\'t stand the noise at night. :rolleyes:
