[MADshrimp]-DUR0N does not changes his name anymore after this!! |
Thanks for participating ... sorry for the name-changes. [MADshrimp]-bicker = n°1 ... at the moment ... with 1 WU ... hehe |
I love you guys .. not onl are you helping support my personal reason of creating xtremesystems but your supporting an even bigger cuase - in the name of research!! beating those damn cows is an added bonus! hehehe |
|
[MADshrimp]-calantak is here, with measly p700powah! thinking of moving my hyperrig to the consultation room :) |

The entire Jay-Jay PC-armada is joining ! ... hardocp : here we come :o |
45 working rigs :) # Jay_Jay |
http://tech-report.com/etc/2002q4/fo...t/index.x?pg=1 If you have doubts about the client consuming all ur computing powah : The results of our testing couldn't be clearer, at least for the systems we've tested today. Quite simply, the impact of running Folding@Home in the background is negligible. Even the most discerning users won't notice it. Windows allocates CPU time slices according to process priority, and as long as the Folding@Home client is running as an idle-priority task (which is how it runs by default), one shouldn't notice any slowdown. |

I'm already upping the fsb of the different pc's :fire: |
saturday evening all my 5Ghz will be working on it  |
yesterday i went for the nickchange -- that was before i had a package done ... now i'm still not in the ranking under this new nick (might still be placed under MADshrimp user) ... can't be the updates are that slow ? |
Ter Angreal you probably added to madshrimp ... did you push "OK" after the nickchange ? Under which nick are you folding atm : look at foldscreen top left. Let us not forget that, besides the noble cause, this is our first and uttermost important objective : |
i did make sure that the nickchange was carried out as planned, that's why i'm finding it a bit hard to believe that you guys are in the list as individuals, while i'm not ... having done the same thing it's not really important to me that my nick is not showing (i'm no in this to compete individually), but i want to make sure i'm not doing this for nothing ;) |
I'm already @ 27% of my first WU :) damn, i need my 3.6 gigger down here :) but it ain't coming down :( or I should upgrade my rig down here to a 3+ gigger :) |
there's that darn addiction again :^D |

aha :) thank thee |
this thing is slow, only 49% ??? |
arg, my adsl connection was terminated. three systems where counting the amount of gras blades there where in the parc of Koekelberg for several hours. |
Slow : a new system should take 6 to 7 hours to fold. Only processor power counts and AMD > Intel. My yellow 1700XP back-up monster does nothing else then folding at 1600 mhz ... and it does the job a lot faster then the PIV 1500. Screensavers degrade performance .. but i'm not 100% sure. Terminated : i already had 2 WU's "blocked" by my firewall |
ploperdeploperdeplop, you idiots tricked me into oc-ing again, just found my system slowed down alot, a month or two ago it did 176 fsb on air prime stable, now 160 is the max... Just can't stand it, urge to buy new components is rising, noooooooooooooooooooo  |

The last round of Gromacs were optimized to run better on Pentium systems when the optimization flags were placed on the end of the run command of the beta7 version. Plus they were worth 10 points. Overfoldix was a very basic version of linux designed to run w/out a hdd, everything was loaded from floppy and runs in ram. Dam, DURON, if you keep up with my score i'll be forced to use my secret "PII 233 evil folding weppon" ? :^) |
ph34r me, cuz my backup is prepairing for departure :) |
Okelido XP1700 operational.... I think ;-) |

I just discouvered that upping the fsb toooooo much just stops the processes ... backup pc has been down for almost one day :grumble: |

owwkay, p4 2.53 added |
Ik sta wel blijkbaar nog steeds niet in de lijst. Is dat normaal? Anyway, just added portable to duty En volgende week op mijn werk er ook eens een deel van bijgooien, die staan toch 24/7 aan :-) |

Then it takes another four to six hours before you can see the result at : http://www.statsman.org/folding2stats/3365.html The latter is easier to compare with as you can sort on the different colums or select rows and create a chart of them. b) :ws: the more the better ! Teus : ... that should be like 15 to 20 points a day if you leave 'em turning 24/7 ! |
