VIA introduces 1W Eden CPU at 500Mhz VIA Technologies is about to introduce a new addition to its Eden ULV (ultra low voltage) processor lineup, the company announced at a press conference yesterday (Aug 16). I know :( would be cool if used for small f&p server, if it gets performance up to 1ghz P3 or Tbird, than it's very nice, using 4~5W for CPU, few watts for mobo:) my current server rig has P4 2.2ghz uses 70W when streaming video/audio. |
