how fast is it to browse through stored messages? is the mbox mail format a lot faster? Outlook in general with its PST is quite slow ones you have over 10.000 messages

Try it out (installation and import < 10 min), couple it with the superbe calendar app/extension and you'll have outlook2003 ... only better

not that much difference in my humble opinion; let's see if searching goes more efficiently
