Default Samsung Excluded from Apple's Next-Gen 'A7' Chip

It's beginning to look like past rumors of Apple's commitment to disassociate the company from Samsung have already begun. Apple is preparing its next-gen A-7 chip for production and Samsung is nowhere in sight. The A-7 processor is due to make an appearance sometime in Q1-2 2014, with Taiwan Semiconductor handling the manufacturing of the mobile chip. Samsung is said to be planning to grow its business partnerships with Nvidia in an effort to offset any losses it will experience in the departure of Apple as a customer.
