| It's Legal To Spoof Phone Numbers? Can anyone come up with a legitimate reason for spoofing phone numbers? Unless you are up to no good, why would anyone use someone else's phone number when they can simply use *67 to block their number? The goal of spoofing is to fool people into picking up the phone, as well as to get around the federal government's Do Not Call list.
