Default Microsoft ties Windows 11 SE to its hardware

It will not allow it to be installed on other PCs

Software King of the World Microsoft might be onto a winner with its the $250 Surface Laptop SE but it is keeping its software locked into its hardware.

One of the reasons that Chromebooks succeeded in education is because of Chrome OS, which is well-suited for lower-end hardware, easy for IT administrators to manage, and hard to break with errant apps or malware.
